Beach Kiss poem

Crumbling, crushed seashells                                surfers
lines the salty coast.
Armed whirlwind washes over

some driftwood that gently floats.

Reflected on my coral-etched glasses..
kites, seagulls,  surfers everywhere..
surviving the hard, deep water crashes
Swirling foam breathes out more bubbling air.

Smooth-tanned beaches peppered with flecks of gold
raining orange-yellow summer rays,
watching moody waves unfold

These endearing memories
of my San Diego beaches,

I really do miss…

onto the next season of my life

my beaches…

are gently sealed with a kiss.
